For this project, I chose the sun symbol because I feel very personally connected to it. In my culture and throughout South America, people worship the sun as a god.

So, I chose to take this project in the direction of self-care/brochure. I should add that I’m not a doctor or psychologist, but all of the information shown next is supported by research.

I chose to take this direction mostly because I thought quarantine affected us in every way, and we can sometimes forget to take time for ourselves. It is very important that we take this time to nurture and disconnect so we can keep moving forward.

I thought this little booklet/brochure could be given as a gift to a friend (to put it on her side table or somewhere) as a reminder that self-care is crucial if you want to keep your light shining.
